Firsts...

Well, considering how new Emery Cupcake is, everyday is pretty much a day of firsts for her! However, this past weekend there were a couple caught on camera.

On Saturday, Emery went on her FIRST walk with her mom & dad. Of course, it was just to the top of our street and back, but none the less, she rode in her stroller and got her folks a tiny bit of exercise.

Then, daddy gave Emery her FIRST breastmilk bottle on Saturday evening. We wanted to make sure that she was comfortable with a bottle so that momma can get out of the house now and again and not have to rush back to feed. She did GREAT and sucked down all 2oz without hesitation. So, I am working on pumping a little each day so that we have a supply in the freezer.

Sunday morning, she had her FIRST ride in the clothes basket. Dad brought her up from the basement right on top of the clean clothes! I'm sure there will be many more of those rides in her future!

19 days old today and we're still as smitten as day 1...
